Where do the sales from the candles and other retail items go?

Our candles and other retail items help us fund our nonprofit and our activities and programs we offer for those impacted by cancer.

Can I make a donation?

Yes, you can! IgniteHope is a tax exempt 501(c)3 organization. You can donate directly to our charity to help us carry on our mission and save the record for your taxes. Donations to our organization help us carry on our mission of empowerment by helping us run the organization, fund our programs, activities, and donations to those impacted by cancer.

How can I get involved?

Why is there aluminum in my candle?

Each one of our candles has inspirational messages hidden throughout the wax. The aluminum pod is where the note to located. To open pod, extinguish the candle flame and retrieve the note with tweezers. Let the pod cool for one minute and then you can open your note!

Are your candles made of soy?

Our candles are made with a high quality paraffin wax and phthalate free fragrances. We avoid soy because of the estrogen content and the potential impact soy has on estrogen-sensitive cancers.

How do I care for my candle?

Please read instructions located on the back label of your candle before lighting. You should keep your candle wick trimmed to 1/4″ – 1/8″. If your candle is sooting, trim your wick and move your candle from any drafty place it may be located. Remove any decoration such as ribbons before lighting the candle. Dispose of candle when there is 1/2″ of wax left at the bottom.

There is a warning label on the bottom of your candle. Candles should not be burned for more than four hours at a time. To prevent tunneling, make sure you are burning your candle for about 45 minutes each time you light it.

Candles should never be left unattended, should be kept out of reach of children and pets. Failure to follow instructions can result in hazards such as smoke damage, fire, or injury.
